We have a bit of a crusade going to improve the state of coffee in the workplace today. Many people’s perception is that if they rent an office coffee machine the drinks will be of poor quality. There seems to be an acceptance that this is simply how it is. At Kenco Local Business Service we strongly believe that a good quality office coffee at an acceptable cost is achievable. If you are looking to rent an office coffee machine there is a wide range of quality equipment to choose from. I won’t go through every option but I will talk about a couple of potential ideas.
A very popular machine for the office environment is the Korinto bean to cup coffee machine. This is designed for a medium workload (up to 100 drinks per day) and is a plumbed in table top system. It uses real whole coffee beans to produce the espresso base from which all of the coffee based drinks are produced. The machine has two other product canisters internally. One of these is for the whitener. We would always suggest Milfresh as the result is virtually as good as using fresh milk. It gives your lattes and cappuccinos a thick and creamy foam comparable to what you might receive in a high street coffee shop. The third canister is for chocolate powder. We offer either Cadburys or Suchards and both give a tremendous result. The Cadburys is a creamier, sweeter drinks and the Suchards is more of a continental style taste. The chocolate is used to provide hot chocolate and mocha. The Korinto office coffee machine has firmly found a place as one our favourite pieces of equipment.
An alternative is the new Jura Giga x9 bean to cup coffee machine. Again this is a table top bean to cup machine. One big difference between the Korinto and the Giga X9 is that the Jura machine uses fresh milk in order to produce the speciality coffees such as cappuccino and latte. It will also produce hot and or steamed milk in order for you to produce hot chocolate of a “flat white” coffee. The Jura Giga X9 also has the advantage of looking fantastic. I truly believe that it is one of the most stylish coffee machines on the market today. In some instances this is less important but if you have a nice ultra modern office that you regularly invite clients to it can help to create the right impression in both looks and the quality of drink.
Either of these superb office coffee machines will do you proud in terms of both their looks and the drinks that they can produce. I would mention just a couple of notes of caution regarding this type of equipment though. You absolutely must fit a good quality water filter to any bean to cup machine and this type of equipment does need regular cleaning. If you do not clean it then it will most definitely go wrong. However if you bear these two points in mind then either of these two coffee machines will make a great addition to your office.
